I'm thinking one could remove the speaker grilles and soak them in some vinegar solution to perhaps clean make bright white again.i cleaned with a damp cloth dust off just that seemed brighten up .the other as it should be. I was gonna try to pop off the speaker cover clean them,but didn't wanna risk breaking something.I'm not sure really how these speakers come apart,i see no screws other than on each foot knob.so I will leave that up new owner. But that's been a few years now,and I kinda need space on my garage shelf so offering them up for sale now. The only major flaws is on ones corner, the white covering material needs regaled to keep it from lifting any further, and other speaker has a similar issue,but not corner.its more along backside edge.it also there in that spot as glue became weak ,allowing portion of begin.

But best I can say really, is just review pics,decide if they are up to your standards or not. Cool retro look,1980s Soundesign speaker set. They have all their four foot pedestals,wiring's there with factory jack plugs,wiring's in nice condition.been many years since I had a Soundesign stereo these white speakers like this and are the first I've come across then. Easy fix in my opinion for someone who has a little skill using glue.

One speaker does have a slight fading of the white color on its grille covers. Working condition. So I grabbed them up figuring would use when found the stereo to match. They look good,not in mint condition.

See pics I show the various flaws up close. So if your into this 80s era look and speaker,heres you a decent set. But even if left alone they still look pretty good and you'd never see these spots you were mounting them up on the wall or putting a shelf. The wood is sturdy,the boxes themselves are strong and not falling apart.
