These support rings have been installed on these tweeters. As most of us know, by now all Ar tweeters Are requiring a rebuild since the suspension either deteriorates or hardens, as does rubber sealant and dampening behind dome. On my rebuilds, the suspension,sealer, and damper Are all new, restoring sound these tweeters once produced when new. Over the years, flange deforms and cracks when torqued down onto enclosure, to fix that issue I have a fixed custom-made support rings reinforce ensure proper seal.
