From the inside out, its basically a new speaker again only better. And when you use the special 11 gram, neck dipped proprietary Hempopotamus curve-linear cone assembly, also get speed, resolution, accuracy, and a well balanced mid range top end that is even better than usual hemp-o. Surround this is also a hemp fiber material, as its part of the molded cone assembly. That gray stuff does nothing but smudge and smear the signal before it even gets to your voice coil.

I'll itemize: front gaskets I found a set of old oem natural/tan gaskets with the 4/8 hole mounting pattern, so used these for cosmetic appearances. This 1960s gem was stripped down to bare metal and magnet, then everything replaced. It was treated with special Eastman Kodak chemicals to loosen the fibers in that area only, and aids low frequency response. LTZ wires these are copper lit wires.

The magnetic gap was verified with a Gauss/flux probe and measured just fine, so it purposely not de-magnetized/ re-magnetized. I refuse to use any of that caw or steel, aluminum crap. The frame was stripped down, and then shot with a nice black lacquer also that color-changing match stick automotive paint changes hues colors viewing angles. Fully tested under diagnostics and operates without any rubbing, smoking, buzzing, holes, rips, or tears its basically a brand new speaker only better.

Now, this is a pretty nice coil. I can't really add anything constructive to the i've already typed. This unit really is greater than the sum of its parts.
