Each the mid range and treble are well integrated with the bass. These speakers produce significant low, tight, natural bass even at low volume levels. The drive units are mounted in a special, fully-finished, high density fiberboard cabinet enclosure that is airtight and loosely filled with acoustic wadding. The cabinets were factory made and finished.

The Heathkit model AS-9560 is a monitor quality multi-speaker system which will provide superb reproduction of all classes program material. The drivers are all well known kef units, made in england. The presentation is accurate, yet warm and non-fatiguing. I purchased these rare, 1972 Heathkit AS-9560 speakers from the estate of original owner.

The owner installed the acoustics damping sheets, crossovers and kef drivers in airtight cabinets. The original assembly and operation manual is in excellent condition. The system uses four kef electronics high fidelity drive units: two 13 x 9 1/2 low frequency drivers, type B139, an 8 mid driver, B200and a 1 hemispherical dome t27. The 8 mid range, B200 driver, is isolated in a low volume sub-enclosure.

All of the kef drivers are original were made in england. All of the cones and surrounds are in excellent condition. The original assembly and operation manual is included. These are very cohesive speakers, all of the drive units blend seamlessly, and they image well with no sense sound coming directly from cabinets.

The bass is present when it should be and never overwhelming. These are excellent, rare, collectable speakers, offered at a very reasonable price.
