SS-4200 SONY Floor Speaker

The Sony SS-4200 floor speaker is a vintage audio gem from the 1970s, radiating an aura of nostalgia and superior sound quality. This speaker boasts an imposing presence, with its large, wooden cabinet measuring approximately 32 inches tall, 16 inches wide, and 12 inches deep. Its classic design features a solid wood veneer finish that comes in various options including walnut, rosewood, and mahogany.

The speaker's front baffle houses a 15-inch cone woofer, designed to deliver powerful, rich bass. The woofer is coupled with a 3-inch dome tweeter, which handles the high-frequency range with precision and clarity. The crossover network ensures seamless integration between the woofer and tweeter, producing a balanced and cohesive sound.

The SS-4200 is a passive speaker, meaning it requires an external power source, such as a receiver or an amplifier, to function. It comes with binding posts for easy connection of speaker wires. The speaker's impedance is 8 ohms, making it compatible with a wide range of amplifiers.

The speaker's cabinet is well-braced and reinforced, contributing to its impressive sound quality. The speaker grille is made of metal, providing both protection and an attractive visual element.
