The AS123 speakers feature a compact and attractive cabinet design, measuring approximately 13.5 inches (34.3 cm) tall, 8 inches (20.3 cm) wide, and 7 inches (17.8 cm) deep. The cabinets are constructed of medium-density fiberboard (MDF), which provides excellent acoustic properties and durability.
The speakers employ a two-way system with separate drivers for the high and low frequencies. The high-frequency driver is a 0.75-inch (19 mm) titanium dome tweeter, which offers excellent detail and clarity. The low-frequency driver is a 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) paper cone woofer, capable of delivering powerful and dynamic bass response.
The speakers are designed to be easy to install and use. They come with binding posts that can accommodate banana plugs, spade connectors, or bare wires, making it simple to connect them to an amplifier or receiver. Additionally, they feature five-way binding posts for bi-amping or bi-wiring, allowing users to optimize their sound quality.
The AS123 speakers are a retro gem, not only for their excellent audio performance but also for their timeless design. The cabinets are finished in a classic cherry wood veneer, which adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any room. The speaker grills are covered in black cloth, which not only protects the drivers but also provides a clean and understated look.

Details:
They don't look like they have ever been mounted in an enclosure. I tested them and even outside of an enclosure they sound really good. There are a few scratches on the back of one speaker, but that is only flaw I can see. I can't tell about the low end because there isn't much produced by an unmounted speaker.
For sale is a pair of vintage Heathkit as123 speakers, made in the USA. Smooth high end and mid range. Any questions, message me and I will do my best to answer. I am sure they would be quite expensive to ship.
From what I can tell they may have been made for Heathkit by Jensen, but am not sure. I don't know too much about these speakers. They are pre-early 1970s because they have no bar code. The baskets are cast, so they very rigid.
I got them at an estate sale a few years ago. I have a Heathkit and receiver that may also post, but am hesitant because of their weight.
