Western Electric type D-173338 compression driver, 43219 USA army horn loudspeaker, as shown in the photos this horn loudspeaker enclosure is missing a and one driver. The compression driver is stamped D-173338.

I researched this driver online but did not find any information. If anyone knows more about it please share. Out of curiosity I disassembled the driver as you can see in photos.
